Good day, hope y'all doing well.

I'm writing to ramble about the development of the promised content update.

To be completely honest, It's taking a lot longer than I expected initially. I know I didn't really promise any timeline or release date but I still feel obligated to keep it 100 with y'all. Main problem is I keep thinking of new cool ideas as development continues. The content update was originally going to only include some new events and phone numbers with a slightly different second ending. But as the late David Lynch said: 

"Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you’ve got to go deeper. Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure. They’re huge and abstract. And they’re very beautiful.”

As I made more content for the game, I dove deeper and I could not resist catching the big fish. I am now adding a whole other section of the map accessed via the Flip Phone. This area will tie in some aspects of the narrative in the bunker and give hints to what the game is about. However, do not expect the new content to spell out what it is all about, I still want the player to arrive at their own personal interpretation.

All that said, I need some time to make the update to be as close to my vision as I can. I have some personal stuff happening too that could slow down development, this is how I be feeling lately:

But that's beside the point. I will try my hardest to roll out this update as soon as possible because I really really enjoy making my first horror game.

Lastly, here is how the flip phone looks in game currently, pretty happy with the SMS and the Camera implementations.
